Dabei dachte ich bisher als erstes an den mystischen Titel von Pink Floyd, aber seit einiger Zeit grübel ich auch immer häufiger über uns und die dunkle, ungesehene Seite der Zivilisation.
Das Rechts und Links der Sammelbusse von TUI und Co., die unentwegt Horden von Touristen zwischen Flughafen und Clubparadiesen hin und her kutschieren.
Vom Strand in den Flieger und von da wieder direkt ins Wohnzimmer. Erneut Hochglanz, nur diesmal von der gemütlichen Couch.
Was man nicht sieht, sind die Müllberge, die dafür hinterlassen werden. All die verrecken ausgesetzten Tiere vom Straßenrand und vor den Supermärkten die sich keiner mehr leisten oder um die sich aus beruflichen Gründen keiner mehr kümmern kann. Und all die frustrierten Arbeitslosen und anderen Verlierer dieses Konsumbooms, die frustriert mit Flachmann in der Hand von unterbezahlten Busfahrern umkurvt und der Polizei wie andere arme Teufel die wirklich mal eine helfende Hand gebrauchen könnten, negiert werden.
Als Pauschaltourist sind einem die unzähligen Plastiktüten egal, die einem oft kostenlos und mit einem Lächeln zu Verfügung gestellt werden und Millionen von Tieren auf der ganzen Welt den Nährboden zerstören und sich als ihre Todeszelle zum Vorboten einer düsteren Zukunft noch ungeborenen Generationen in dunklen und hellen Ecken zu neuen Pyramiden unserer Zeit auftürmen..
Das ist die Dark Side of Wirtschaftswachstum, das glaubt, Umweltschutz müsse man sich leisten können, weil auch er Kosten verursacht.
Wenn wir im Urlaub Lidl, Tedi und Kaufland brauchen, warum fahren wir dann überhaupt weg? Zuhause von der Couch mit Fernbedienung wäre doch alles viel bequemer und da trennt man (hoffentlich) wenigstens den Müll.
Sorry, aber das müsste einfach Mal raus.

Dark side of the Moin
So far the first thing I thought of was the mystical title of Pink Floyd, but for some time now I’ve also been pondering more and more about us and the dark, unseen side of civilization.
The right and left of the collective buses of TUI and Co., which incessantly coach hordes of tourists back and forth between the airport and club paradises.
From the beach to the plane and from there straight back to the living room. High gloss again, only this time from the comfortable couch.
What you don’t see are the mountains of garbage that are left behind for this. All the perishing abandoned animals from the roadside and in front of the supermarkets that no one can afford anymore or that no one can take care of for professional reasons. And all the frustrated unemployed and other losers of this consumer boom, frustrated with flask in hand by underpaid bus drivers and the police like other poor devils who could really use a helping hand, negated.
As a package tourist you don’t care about the countless plastic bags that are often provided to you free of charge and with a smile, destroying the breeding ground for millions of animals around the world and piling up as their death cell to the harbinger of a gloomy future yet unborn generations in dark and bright corners to new pyramids of our time….
This is the Dark Side of economic growth, which believes that environmental protection must be affordable because it also has a cost.
If we need Lidl, Tedi and Kaufland on vacation, why do we go away at all? At home from the couch with remote control everything would be much more comfortable and there we (hopefully) at least separate the garbage.
Sorry, but that would have to simply times out.

Unser Ritt auf der Waiküre 
Das Müllproblem in unserer Natur ist in der Tat beunruhigend – wunderschöne Landschaften sind verschmutzt mit Unrat jeglicher Art, leere Flaschen und sogar Windeln. Dies zeigt, wie wenig Achtung für die Natur in unserer Wegwerfgesellschaft vorhanden ist.
Bedauerlicherweise spiegelt sich dies oft auch im Umgang der Menschen miteinander wider.
